Dear Professor, I always have some issues with adding footnotes in my essays because when I type my drafts in Word for example, then copy and paste it on here, the footnotes would not be included. That explains why I try to make the links look like footnotes and add them at the end of my drafts. Would you prefer to see the links in the text? Does it mean right after the related sentence in parenthesis for example?

I was also wondering whether you think that we can improve our writing by purely writing? Or is reading an important part of the improvement process, and the more we read about the things we would like to write about, the better we get at writing on those specific topics?

And is practicing by writing the best way to improve our writing skills?
