I came to law school for many of the usual cliched reasons. I wanted an intellectual career and I wanted to help people. I have never had any intention of working for a corporate firm, but I suppose the next few years will teach me a lot about my resistance to peer pressure.

My interests are primarily in criminal justice. After law school I would like to work in public defense or on death penalty issues in some capacity. I am particularly interested in learning how to turn small-scale advocacy into a larger movement for change.
