| | Personal Introduction
In one respect, how people see me and how I see myself couldn’t diverge more wildly. When people learn of the things I’ve done since college – running a marathon, moving to Brussels without knowing anyone, spending a year working on farms in South America – the reaction I get is one of marvel: “You’re so brave,” they say. But I’ve only done those things because I know my true nature: A deeply cautious individual who spent his childhood afraid to take risks. As I determine my post-law school path, I find myself constantly fighting those cautious urges once again. |
