The most influential class I took in college was called U.S. and Mexican borders. This class taught me to think critically about institutional power and the masses that are caught in the unjust machine. I came to law school because I wanted to gain an understanding of the system in the hopes of working towards a more inclusive society. Coming to law school has taught me that there are many avenues for accomplishing this end, so part of my challenge is discovering which avenue to take.
