I came to law school because it presented the best opportunity to find a future professional job I was passionate about. A legal education is an invaluable skill set, whether one decides to be a corporate lawyer, politician, businessperson, or even a stay-at-home dad. With a JD from Columbia Law, I have access to individuals and resources who can open doors, doors that are closed to the vast majority of society. Given my options when it was time to make a decision, I chose law school.
