I came to law school to learn how to be a practical thinker. I spent my time in undergrad discussing and analyzing world issues, tracing the arc of social ills, identifying causal factors and devising theoretical solutions to societal problems. My classmates and I probed the complexities and intricacies of human interaction, evaluating how they translate into political action and behavior. However, my interaction with these issues had been purely academic. I didn’t think I had the practical tools necessary to combat them. I thought law school would give me an opportunity to acquire those tools. -- MisanIkomi - 20 Jan 2009
