I think things work better when more people participate. Institutions wither when people think that there should be a few people who are participants and the rest are observers. This holds true for the law.

The internet is a tool that allows mass amounts of people to coordinate and change the way we do things. (e.g. collecting and distributing news, political fundraising, shopping for used textbooks). I am fascinated by how technology can change legal practice, and that’s why I’m taking this course. I want to be a participant.
