Sure - I think you are right Shay, but an injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere. Democratic software development is one way to struggle for liberation; the development of accessible, sustainable energy for populations in developing countries is another. They aren't mutually exclusive, and one's not necessarily better than the other. We need lots more of both - don't you agree? I think creating social change is about finding what you are good at, identifying how that challenges power and then pushing. Hard. Answering those questions is not always easy to do, but the answers will certainly not be the same for everyone.
