< < | Why did I decide to take Law & Contemporary Society? | | | |
< < | I'm going to forgo writing the long answer for now. Instead, here are two short answers.
(1) I think that I can learn a lot from Eben.
(2) This was the only class I was warned against taking. Last summer, I worked at a large law firm in Midtown. In the middle of the summer, one of the associates learned that I was a rising 1L at Columbia. She pulled me aside and said, "Don't take Professor Moglen's class". A general distrust of corporate lawyers and anyone who pronounces the noun finance as finn-ance led me to do the opposite. So far, I think that I made a good choice.
Why did I decide to take Law in the Internet Society?
I liked what I heard last year, and now I'm back for more.
