Law in Contemporary Society

-- AaronShepard - 14 Jan 2009

I’m not sure if there is some grand, abstract reason for me being at law school. I never considered one when deciding to come here, and have struggled with the question when I have considered it since. If I had to pick something, I suppose I am here because law school presents the traditional path to the careers I have considered. However, I believe the law does transcend traditional power structures, or at least has the ability to do so. This equality is not present in many (if not most) other fields; this has a deep appeal for me.
