Law in Contemporary Society

Personal Introduction

I grew up in a liberal and diverse family in a liberal and diverse city. I understood the world to be relatively free of judgment or an immense pressure to conform. However, upon starting school at a fairly conservative, homogenous university, this insular bubble burst and I started to learn about how many people understand our differences. I went to law school in hopes of creating a career in which I can not only support myself financially, but also work to move the rest of the world toward something akin to the way that I saw it as a teenager.
