Why Law School?

We live in a very unjust world. I wanted to put myself in a position to play a role in bringing about justice. I choose law over other fields, such as public policy, because the power that words and language can have in bringing justice fascinates me.

My hope is that law school will help me strengthen my ability to utilize words and language in ways that contribute towards justice. Words and language are far too often leveraged in ways that further perpetuate injustices.
