I almost enrolled in B-school because I wanted to manage stocks. Then the financial crisis happened, and I didn't like the regulatory changes happening in the financial industry. But I also didn't like the risk taking by some major corporations. I want to learn how the government can improve its relationship with businesses and how to make businesses more accountable to society.

I'm in this class because it's a tremendous opportunity to exchange ideas with others in an extremely transparent learning environment. Who knows, I may change my feelings on my career prospects by the end of the semester.
