Before law school, I was a copy editor at a legal reference book publisher in Houston. I figured if I still thought law was interesting after working there, I should apply to law school, so here I am. I also did legal research for a professor in undergrad, mostly related to child pornography. I find law school very oppressive. Not totally sure what area of law I want to go into – media and art law seem interesting. I care about job security, but I’m not particularly interested in being rich. If I did come into a lot of money, I’d leave it all to Planned Parenthood.
