Personal Introduction

Hello all. My name is Brooke, I use she/her pronouns and I was born & raised in Washington, DC. I’ve lived in DC my whole life apart from undergrad, which means I’ve lived in Washington long enough to know it’s going to be quite some time before I come back. I came to law school originally because I wanted to be on the law enforcement side of the law but, after working as a paralegal for 2 years, I’m finding myself drifting more towards criminal defense. US v. Sadr was the first case I worked on, which quickly changed my perspective of prosecutors. I’m still not entirely sure where I want to end up post-grad but I do know that I still have a lot of law to absorb before I make that decision. -- By BrookeHolder - 20 Jan 2022
