Elizabeth Encinas , 27 years old, from Trinidad and Tobago. I graduated from Columbia College in 2008 with a B.A in Political Science. In the years between undergrad and law school I did a graduate degree in International Relations and worked outside of the U.S. In this class I hope to conceptualize an educational path for myself for the next 2.5 years that can prepare me to be a lawyer with practical skills, beyond the amorphous “think like a lawyer” objective that most of the classes seem to be geared towards. My interests are: Energy law, International law and Human Rights.
