After undergrad I spent a year working in local politics. I slowly realized that my personality isn’t very well suited to electoral politics. I still wanted to be involved in public affairs and signed up for law school in the hope that I could find a more palatable way to make the world better, while also making a living.

My other hope for law school was that it would be intellectually interesting and challenging, and so far I haven’t been disappointed.
