I worked at a law firm for two years after college. The main thing that I took away from that experience is an understanding of how important it is to be engaged emotionally and intellectually with your work. I want to spend my career being involved with issues, with ideas and with people that I care about and that are interesting and worthwhile. I would like to spend my time in law school learning how best to accomplish this goal.
